African Union and European Union griefs over the demise of late Chad President


African Union and European Union are deeply grieved over the death of Chad President Idriss Deby.

Deby was killed in the frontline after his victory in the presidential election for a 6th term in office.

African Union commission chairperson, Moussa Faki Mahamat send their condolences messages. They outline Idriss as a distinguish military leader.

The message stated to the family goes as follows, " I extend my sincere condolences to the people of  Chad and his family Faki, who was Chad prime minister from 2003-2005."

European Union of Foreign Affairs, Chief Joseph Borell also send their condolences.

EU appeal to the people for responsible actions to be enforced for stability of Chad which is of a great priority.

Deby is acknowledge also for his fight against Boko Haram when he Rose to power in 1990. 

The late President son is named Mahamat Kaka of Chadian Military Council as the new leader.
