European super league reveals its founding teams


Twelve of Europe's top clubs reported on Sunday they were dispatching a breakaway Super League, headed by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez. 

The move, which has been intensely scrutinized by soccer specialists and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron, sets up an opponent to UEFA's Champions League rivalry. 

Six clubs from England's Premier League - Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur highlight among the establishing individuals, alongside Spain's Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid and Italy's Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan, the association, called Super League, said in an articulation. 

The group intends to dispatch "when practicable" and the establishing clubs will be given $3.5 billion "to help their foundation speculation plans and to balance the effect of the COVID pandemic", the assertion said.
