False news: Anambra state Airport to be run as domestic not international

A report was claimed to be released and it was written that the FG has refused to give Anambra state license to run an international airport.

Anambra state Governor, Willie Obiano declared the report as false news.

Reports states, "FG only gave the state license to run a domestic airport". On Monday, Commissioner of information and public enlightenment CC-Don Adinuba released a statement that declares the news as false and counter their report with another declaration, "Anambra International Cargo/Passenger Airport remains international and such report should be ignored."

First commercial plane at the airport is stated to land on April 30, 2021.

The report was released in order to testrun the facilities in the airport. A faceless group of hired personnel posted on net that FG through the Minister of Aviation that the FG has refused to give Anambra state license to run an international airport but only have license to run a domestic airport as the decision was announced by Minister of Aviation Senator Sirika Hadi. One thing was to be observed the news lack the basic element of how the announcement was made and to whom it was made.

Anambra International Cargo/Passenger Airport has all the necessary facilities installed and  has the standards to be run on an international level.
