First Female Judge in Nassarawa state sworn in


Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu is sworn in today by State Governor of Nassarawa, Abdullahi Sule as first female judge in the state.

 After the administration of the oath of office, Governor said his administration will emphasize on importance of Judiciary as a needed institution to strengthen the relationship between organs of government. They will  continue to support the judiciary for quick dispensation of justice.

 Moreover, the government has approved an increase in subvention of judiciary to allow the implementation of the harmonization law as well as enhance the allowances if magistrates and justice of Area court's.

 Sule urges the members of judiciary staff union on strike to return to work in the interest of the people.

Governor addresses Justice Aisha Bashir Aliyu to use her appointment to bring out her wealth of experience and be in charge of her work.
