Indonesia submarine goes missing

An Indonesian naval force submarine has disappeared with 53 individuals ready, military authorities say. 

The submarine was directing a drill north of the island of Bali on Wednesday, however it neglected to report back and contact was lost. 

Indonesia's military boss said warships had been dispatched to discover the KRI Nanggala-402 vessel. 

Authorities have approached Australia and Singapore to help in the hunt. The nations have not freely remarked. 

The German-made submarine is thought to have vanished in waters around 60 miles (100km) off the shore of Bali from the get-go Wednesday morning. 

"[The navy] is as of now looking for it. We realize the region however it's very profound," First Admiral Julius Widjojono revealed to AFP news organization. 

A few reports say contact was lost after the submarine had been offered leeway to jump into more profound waters.
