KAROTA bought Power Bikes to manage traffic control


Governor of Kano state introduce 25 power bikes which was bought by the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA).

In the inaugurating ceremony held on Sunday in Kano, the Governor commended the managing director of KAROTA for taking the next step by providing this power bike in order to ensure compliance to Traffic rules by all road users.

The moterbikes used by KAROTA personnel will go a long way in easing the stress of the agency, as it's officials can  move quickly to trace violators, monitor traffic, bring out the people from smuggling, illicit and sub-standard goods around the city. This was appointed to easily captured kidnappers, criminals, with this it was now expected that KAROTA will double their efforts into controlling traffic and persecute those breaking traffic rules.

Meanwhile, the Managing Director of KAROTA, Baffa Dan'agundj stated the money used to purchase the powerbikes was from the funds saved from removing ghost workers from the paylist.

Dan'agundi assured the Governor that the 25 new power bikes would go a long way in apprehending criminals.
