Nigerian Governor's Forum worry about insecurity

 

 The Nigerian Governor's Forum (NGF) has expressed worry over the recent regular attacks on security formations, correctional facilities in different parts of Nigeria. At the end of the forum's meeting in Abuja on Wednesday night, Mr Kayode Fayemi, Governor of Ekiti state and the NGF chairman stated the worries of NGF members concerning disturbing security issues like the killings of soldiers, the release of criminals, continuous acts of violence across the country etc. The forum have realized the need to attend to our security system concerning the reoccurring crisis.

 Fayemi commended on the efforts of the state to prevent crises from becoming worse, the steps taken at the state level has helped to reduce the enormity of security challenges.

 Federal authorities at political and security level are involved to deal with the challenges of security Nigeria has been faced with. He also said, issues regarding the order 10 and Financial autonomy for judiciary and legislature were reviewed by the forum, though their resolution wasn't disclosed, he said, "the committee will meet on Thursday with representatives of Judiciary and legislature level to officially disclosed those resolutions.
