Ohanaeze Ndigbo refuses the deployment of Fulani security groups


Ọhanaeze Ndịgbo warns Miyetti Allah against any attempt to operate a security group in Igboland.

Igbo Organization body made a statement through their secretary general, Mazi Okekukwu Isiguzoro on Monday night that security of lives and properties lies solely in the hands of state governors and President, has sworn "there shall be no Fulani Security Group in their land".

Igbos have co-existed peacefully in their homestead with the fulani and vowed they will ensure MACBAN attempt to deploy security groups will not succeed.

The Group also used the media as a platform to condemn the burning down of security formations in Uzuakolu, Bende LGA of Abia State.

Information received stated unknown gunmen on Monday morning burnt down a police station in Uzuakoli, Bende LGA of Abia state.

A meeting will be held between the Eastern Security Network, Ebubeagu and Miyetti Allah to address the issue of destruction of lives and properties by their herdsmen and farmers' clashes across the state of southeast zone.
