Ooni of Ile-Ife describes women as warriors

 

Ooni of Ile-Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwansi hosted the women under the backing of Obinrin Oodua Agbaye, he addressed them yesterday at the palace Ile-Ife, Osun state. 

 Oba states, "women are key to our struggle for self determination and must be carried along.

"If we fail to have the support of women folks, we go nowhere."  

Oba described women as warriors as he cited examples of brave women like Deborah from the bible, Moremi of ancient Ife. He declared that women have played an important role in actualizing the yoruba nation.

 Sunday Adeyewi known as Igboho, yoruba activist has been advocating for Oduduwa republic actualization. He states, "to this end a security outfit was launched in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

 "The outfit named as Oduduwa National security force is codenamed "Operation paramole".
