Philip Berk dismissed from HFPA

 The association behind Hollywood's Golden Globe Awards has removed its previous president over an article he shared about Black Lives Matter. 

Philip Berk, 88, had been an individual from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) for a very long time and its leader for a very long time. 

In a gathering email with HFPA individuals, Berk allegedly shared an article that portrayed BLM as a "bigoted disdain bunch". 

He later said he lamented sending the email, the Los Angeles Times revealed. 

He told individuals he had "sent it as a state of data", as per the paper. 

The Golden Globes are the most prominent film grants in the US after the Oscars, yet Berk's takeoff has extended an emergency at the HFPA. 

Recently, a scorching LA Times confession claimed, in addition to other things, that the mysterious association didn't have any dark individuals. 

The HFPA, which is comprised of just about 90 worldwide writers situated in LA, has promised to declare generous changes in the coming weeks.
