The Judiciary shall embark on Nationwide protest


Judiciary staff Union of Nigeria had an emergency meeting compromising of national working committee on April 15. They concluded on the decision to emabark on Nationwide protest from April 16.

 Though the judiciary workers had been on strike since April 6th, JUSUN deputy secretary, P.Nnamani said that the action was taken to move the government to take action to release financial autonomy for the judiciary.

 Union will organise a peaceful protest in Federal Capital but it will be replicated across the 36 states from April 19, 2021. Invitations for negotiation were also made available, for any negotiation to be made, it should be directed to the national head quarters for guidelines and representation.

 According to the directive official he states, "there shall be no disorder in the presentation of facts".
