7 female victims of sex- trafficking were arrested on their crossing to Europe

 

Nigerian Immigration Service were able to stop victims of sex- trafficking from crossing Niger Republic, en-route to Europe. They were 7 females in number, indigenes of Lagos, Kwara, Imo and Ogun state within age range of 16-27 years.

The victims in question had no valid travelling documents to cross Niger Republic, Libya to Europe, Jigawa state controller of NIS, Ismaila Abba Aliyu discloses. 

He stated the arrest was made by the personnel of Operation Salam, along Kazaure Babura axis in the state.
