Australia makes first flight from India after travel ban

Australia has carried out its first flight from India after the country has ended it's travel ban from India.

Reports said 80 people arrived Australia yesterday instead of 150 passengers that have been scheduled to be on the flight to Australia.

70 passengers who were unable to be on the flight were banned from travel after they tested positive for  coronavirus.

Those who arrived Australia will be placed on quarantine for a night.

Australia is also set to resume flights from India so as to bring stranded Australians back into the country.
