Babatunde's sermon made an example of Bill and Melinda Gates separation


Reverend Idowu Babatunde, General Overseer of Foursquare Gospel Church, Wuse district, made use of Bill and Melinda Gates as example in his sermon, 'Money isn't a key to a lasting and happy marriage.'

This particular Sunday was the 25th wedding anniversary and 60th birthday of Pastor Dickson Ailemen who was a retired deputy Comptroller of Nigerian Correctional Service in Kuje Zonal Superintendent of the church.

Babatunde quoted, "if money substains marriage Bills and Melinda Gates would not have separated after 27 years of marriage".

He emphasizes on the effects of Family and home in the society. He further stated everyone is in a hurry to achieve and make money but he reminded us, "the blessings of God maketh rich and added no sorrow".

Babatunde concluded everyone should wait on God because God has plans for their lives and there's no need to hurry and do things we aren't supposed to do.
