Mbaka closes Adoration Ministry

Popular Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka has shut down his church Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria [Amen]. In his statement, Mbaka said the closure would be for an entire monthand no activity would happen at the Enugu East based church. The church located at Umuchigbo had been headed by Mbaka for years now who has been in the news more and more over comments made by him about the government of the day.

The Enugu based Priest also disclosed that he had been asked to close the place of worship by the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev. Calistus Onaga and to proceed on a 30 day retreat.

In a statement sent out on Tuesday May 11, which states ‘Our spiritual Director, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka wishes to inform his beloved adorers that he has embarked on a private prayer retreat that would end on 10th of  June 2021. In respect to that no ministerial activities would be held on ministry ground till his return.’

He also directed members of his ministry to observe the period of his retreat as the usual January breaks of the church, to pray at home, be charitable and fast according to their strength. He finished the notice with a chant ‘Adoration! Holy spirit is our power.
