Nick Kamen dies aged 59 after battle with bone marrow malignant growth


Madonna's protégé and Levi's launderette model, Nick Kamen has passed on at 59 years old after a  fight with bone marrow malignant growth. 

The Essex-conceived model, genuine name Ivor Neville Kamen, who was additionally a vocalist, passed on Monday night, May 3, at his £1million level in Notting Hill, West London. 

Kamen had experienced the disease for a very long time and was being taken care of by his better half, Lucinda, his, Ronald Kamen, 65, disclosed to MailOnline today. 

He said: 'His breathing was shallow and he realized what was coming. He battled it hard. I was with him a couple of days prior. 

'We have had the option to see him, yet just one at time because of the pandemic. That exacerbated things, however he had the disease before one of the lockdowns.' 

Ronald, from Oxford, said his more youthful sibling had gone through a full blood bonding as a feature of his treatment. 

'Unfortunately, the disease was not trapped on schedule. His sweetheart Lucinda who lived with him in Notting Hill will be representing the family.' 

Tchaik Chassay, 62, who lives above Mr Kamen, outlined for MailOnline: 'I last saw Nick around four months prior and he said it was a supernatural occurrence that he's yet alive. 

'He was frail yet I was enchanted to see him taking a stroll with Lucinda however he scarcely figured out how to remain on his feet.' 

He added: 'Scratch was a brilliant man and everyone around here knew him. He didn't talk much about his days as an artist and to be straightforward, I wasn't so intrigued. I just enjoyed him for what his identity was.' 

One neighbor said: 'Scratch realized he was passing on for a long while and Lucinda was an incredible solace to him. 

'Scratch came from a significant enormous family and a ton of them would stay with him as well. He had an awesome life yet we will all miss him.' 

Companions have taken to online media to pay recognitions for the model. 

Duran composed: 'Not really good or bad dismal to know about the death of Nick Kamen. One of the loveliest and gentlest men at any point met. He was an adored companion to my little girl and her Mom. We will all miss him, Tear Nick'.
