Okiemute Deborah arrested by EFCC for internet fraud

 

A Benue State University graduate, Okiemute Deborah, was arrested by the Makurdi Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, not long after she displayed her sumptuous way of life on Facebook. 


Deborah and three other associated individuals with an organization of web fraudsters were captured in the state capital last Saturday, May 1, 2021, following an insight report. 


The suspect, who passes by the name 'Sassie Dira' on Facebook, had on Saturday at about 5:56 PM, invited the new month with stunning photographs of herself presenting before a white vehicle. 


"First day of the month looking totally shocking obviously, counterfeit life at its pinnacle. completely engaged for the realm and the lord's spec. just those with Royal blood should DM" she subtitled the post. 


An assertion gave by the representative of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren, on Tuesday, May 4, in Makurdi, said that "Okiemute Deborah, Gideon Damisa, Sunday James, and Friday Ebosele, were gathered together by agents of the Commission following knowledge report on their supposed crimes in and around Makurdi city," 


"At the point of the arrest, the prime suspect Gideon Damisa was in control of a Mercedes Benz GLK 350 2010 Model, 1 iPhone, 2 Pro Max, 2 Infinix telephone and ATM cards, among others. They will before long be charged to court," Uwajaren added.
