Wole Soyinka states it's unlikely that Nigeria will remain united

Professor Wole Soyinka, interacted with the former Imo state Governor Rochas Okorocha at his book reading and signing titled, "Trumpism Academe and Chronicles of the Happiest people on Earth", in Abuja on Saturday. Okorocha asked Soyinka, "if it was possible for him to write a book that unites the various tribes of Nigeria." Soyinka responded, "it's not likely for Nigeria to ever be united due to the sytemic failure under President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

"Nigeria has lost its chances on several occasions to unite as one. If such opportunity ever comes again, he doesn't know but with the present governance it seems very unlikely that a leader will arise and unite the country together."

Soyinka concluded it was best Nigeria stay as one entity.
