Calabar: PDP Delegates officially hand over quit notice to Gov. Ben Ayade

Delegates from People's Democratic Party led by the national Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus, followed by Gov. Udom Emmanuel and former Senate President, Bukola Saraki paid a visit to Calabar. Their intended visit was to officially hand over a sack letter to Ben Ayade, Governor of Cross River State.

Meanwhile, alongside the exit of Gov. Ben Ayade, the PDP's Forum comprising of Waziri Tambuwal, Deputy governor of Zamfara state, former vice President all candidate of PDP, Peter Obi and other PDP members welcomed former governor, Donald Duke back to the party.

PDP delegates in Calabar had not only come to hand over the notice to Gov. Ben Ayade, but were also in town to authorize a new secretariat in PDP party.

Secondus had also ushered in former deputy governor, Efiok Cobham as the new head of the caretaker committee in Calabar.

PDP have likely stated, their party would be restored back to his reign of glory as more APC members would come into their party.
