Facebook extends suspension of Donald Trump

Facebook suspended Donald Trump, after supporters stormed the capitol building, after he declared the 2020 election President Biden won was rigged.

The suspension of Trump from Facebook was extended till January 7, 2023. Prior to the day far ahead to avert his suspension, Vice President, Nick Clegg said, "external factors will be considered such as instances of violence, restrictions on peaceful assembly, and order markers of civil unrest will be evaluated.

"Until the risks to public safety is reduced, the restriction would be extended for a set period of time."

Clegg further stated the new rules for enforcement protocols would be applied in exceptional cases.

Meanwhile, Trump defined the action against him as an insult to his supporters.
