Police Command in Katsina state apprehends three members of Hakika Islamic sect


Hakika Islamic sect, closely related to Boko Haram in their teachings have committed attrocities under the guise of recruiting new members into their sect.

One of such cases was having carnal knowledge of a married woman, Zainab Ahmed under pretense to introduce her into the sect.

The Hakika sect was reported to the Katsina Police Command by Zainab's husband. It all happened that he came home one day from his deployment service and found his wife with a four-month old baby girl.

He narrated to the police that due to his deployment, he had left his wife under the care of her parents but was shocked when he came back to hear of the ugly incident that transpired at his absence.

In light of the filed complaint, Katsina state police command arrested three members of the Hakika Islamic sect as suspects, they were Tukur Dan Azumi, (aged 19), Abubakar Yahuza (aged 20), Rufai Sa'osi (aged 27).
