Democracy day: Protesters in Lagos


Protest were ongoing in Lagos at Gani Fawehinmi Park in Ojota area on Saturday June 12, while the protest was still on Popular Comedian, Debo Adebayo joined the protests.

The crowd in unison chanted, "Buhari must go, to end insecurity in the country and for stability to be restored." The police however tried to scattered the crowd using tear gas and gunshots to stop the protests but they were unbending.

Not to long, thereafter they gathered themselves again in front of a motor park approved by Lagos State Ministry of Transportation with placards.

Recall, in February 2021, Macaroni had been arrested when he protested at Lekki toll gate, for justice to be served regarding the death of victims during the time of End SARS on October 20, 2020.

Although, Macaroni had been victimised, still yet he joined the protests. He stated he wondered why President Muhammadu Buhari should be the cause of the chaos when he had tried four times before he was elected as president.
