Soldiers kills six terrorists


Boko Haram in Borno state had attacked the troops of Operations Hadin Kai in Kumshe town. However, their alleged actions backfired against them as the troops defended their territory victorously and six men from Boko Haram were killed.

This was disclosed by Director of Army Public Relations, Brigade General Onyema Nwachukwu in a statement issued on Sunday, Abuja.

According to his statement, "Terrorists had tried to invade the camp of soldiers deployed in Kumshe town, Borno state but the Soldiers sprang up in action immediately and repelled the attack.

"Troops of soldiers had mounted on four trucks and several motorcycles in pursuit of the terrorists and in the course of the pursuit they had killed six of them while the remaining fled.

"They recovered six rifle guns, one hand held grenade, assorted drugs and first aid items."
