South-South refuse to comply with the sit-at-home order given by Biafran group


Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB alongside Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign states of Biafra, MASSOB ordered a sit-at-home order on May 31st to mark Biafra's day.

However, states in the South-South failed to comply. The Deputy Nation Leader of Biafran Nation league, BNL and Head of operations, BBs media, Ebuta Takon, stated majority of people in the South-South that believe in the struggle are not as bold like the Igbos to express themselves.

Meanwhile, states in the South-South like parts of Rivers, Bayelsa and part of Delta State that feel they are not part of Biafra lack knowledge and are sponsored to overshadowed those in the struggle. Even a sitting-governor denies is Igbo identity to benefit from politics of South-South.

Takon said he holds the members who had hosted Biafra's flag in Akampa LGA Cross-Rivers state in high esteem.

Takon urged members of  Biafra to identify themselves with BNL, BNL members will continue to ensure everyone in the eastern region are carried along, despite the misunderstandings that exists between ethnic groups.
