Zamfara state police command rescued four victims


Zamfara state police command rescued four women abducted three weeks ago by bandits along Bilbis local government area.

Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Shehu in Zamfara state command confirmed the incident via a statement issued on Saturday.

Furthermore, he claimed the Commissioner of Police, Hussaini Rabiu had sent forth operatives to aide the rescue mission, attributing that the entire team had worked in unison based on a former intelligence source they had which led to the successful rescue mission.

For the meantime, the victims were taken to the hospital to receive medical attention before they departed to unite with their families.

Shehu stated the police are currently tracking down the trail of the bandits.
