Arjen Robben's early retirement from playing football


Former Chelsea player and Bayern Munich legend, Arjen  Robben announced his retirement at aged 37, due to a major injury after his last match in Groningen.

Despite, his early retirement from the game of football, Robben played remarkably well in every season. Reminiscing back to his playing days, Robben had played for Chelsea between 2004-2006, he won the league and  the league Cup twice, to top it all, he won the FA cup in addition to his victories. After his days in Chelsea, he played for Real Madrid before his association with the Bayern team.

Throughout, his football days, Robben was a star in every team, he played for before his injury caused him to be laid back leading to his retirement.
