Drawing of a bear by Da Vinci set up for sale at Christie's aunction


The renowned artist, Leonardo da Vinci, 1452-1519 was always distinguished by his wondous artworks and inventions.

Da Vinci artwork drawing to be aunctioned on Thursday at Christie's which would be expected to surpass the price of the former Da Vinci artwork set up by Horse and the Rider in 2001. 

In describing the drawing, the drawing was created using a Silverpoint on pale-beige paper, the drawing existed far back into the 1480.

In commendations of the artwork, Laetitia Masson, known to have specialized in the drawings at Christie's aunctioned stated the silver paint drawing is a difficult technique and highly rated.

Vinci's artwork drawing of a bear previously belonged to a British painter, collector, Sir Thomas Lawrence. Though it was sold before for €2.50 but will likely be sold between €8m-€12m with the exception of fees.
