Nigerian Army mourns the tragic loss of Major General Hussein Ahmed


Nigerian Army mourns the tragic loss of a beloved comrade, the former Provost Marshall of the Nigerian Army, Major General Hussein Ahmed.

The Army General also the director at the Army headquarters was killed by bandits on Thursday along Lokoja-Abuja road.

Tribute to the Great Major General Ahmed, the Chief of Policy and Plans (Army) Major General Anthony Omozoje stated, from spending time with Ahmed, he's an industrious worker, committed to his duties with a high sense of responsibility.

Ahmed's conduct in carrying out his affairs was impeccable, very professional without any stain in his reputation. Omozoje prayed for his soul to rest in perfect peace, expressing his profound love for Ahmed.

Ahmed burial rites was finalized on Friday at Lungi Barracks Cementery. Thereafter, a delegation was sent from the army led by Omozoje to paid a condolence visit to the bereaved family, in accordance to the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu command.
