Tokyo 2020: Blind athlete participates in Tokyo Olympics

Blind athlete, Lex Gillette is among the athletes competing in Tokyo 2020 Olympics, though he has been a four-time Paralympic medallist but not a gold medal.

Gillette is from Releigh, North Carolina, US. He specializes in competing in long jump during athletic games using his sighted guide. He's a world-record holder in long jump.

It's speculated, the Tokyo Olympics held this year might be a moment of breakthrough for Gillette, to win a gold medal for the first time even as an athlete.
