N-Power Batch C kick-starts officially


The Federal Government empowerment program, N-Power has kick-started the third batch known as Batch C. The announcement was made known on Monday during the FG launch campaign. The key personnel at the launch, Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq who led the opening ceremony.

It was through her opening speech that the news of N-Power Batch C division scheme was announced. They are divided into two groups, Batch C1 and Batch C2. Batch C1 is divided into graduates and non-graduates. The total number of graduates beneficiaries is 450,000 while for non-graduates is 60,000 giving a total of 510,000 beneficiaries.

Furthermore, Graduates are expected to gain the upper hand receiving 30,000 Naira monthly wage for 1 year while non-graduates are expected to receive 10,000 Naira per month for a period of 9 months.

Aside from Farouq, important guests were also available at the launch. They were also given an opportunity to speak at the event. They are  UN Resident Coordinator for Humanitarian affairs, Edward Kallon, National Coordinator of NSIP, Umar Bindir andMinister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed,.

Each of them official speech commended the FG approach in empowering the youths through various financial grants, business grants and vocationalo training to invest in the life of youths for a greater tomorrow.
