Sacked Minister of Power, Sale Mamman replaced by Abubakar Aliyu


Former Minister of Power, Sale Mamman, who was sacked by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday, along side with the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono, shunned rumour in an interview with BBC Hausa on saturday. He made it clear that before the public announcement of his sack from office on wednesday, Mr president already informed him a day earlier.

Sale, denied the rumour that he collapsed after receiving the shocking news. he said: "When I received the news of the Sack, I was in the hospital for my regular check." 

He started that those close to him, who heard the news, suggested that he shouldn't be told, so he won't get heart attack or hypertension, they didn't know i was already informed.

Sale Mamman, thanked president Muhammadu Buhari, for giving him the opportunity to serve under him and promised to remain in the ruling party, APC.

The 63-year-old served as minister of Power from 21 August, 2019 to 1 September, 2021 and replaced by Minister of state for Works and Housing, Abubakar Aliyu.
